Not your conventional hotdog. Your usual ketchup and mustard is replaced with wasabi and nori strips. Even your taco salad tastes like wasabi and nori since they believe "cheese" is so not japanese. Umay to the maximum level.
Verdict: although I have always been a fan to Japanese food (I like sukiyaki, teriyaki and sushi), Hapadog is just a poor attempt to introduce American food to a Japanese palate. The presentation's good though but it has to be edible as well. I don't think I'll be going back to the same establishment ever again.

Beef Enchilada by Mexicali
The verdict: Hugely disappointed. I used to be a fan of Mexicali's before but when we ate there last time I was really disappointed with their food. The enchilada tasted mediocre and the sauce almost made me throw up. Even the cheese enchilada was too overwhelming. And to think I had this before and I enjoyed it! But now it tastes just awful. Not going back to Mexicali's anytime soon. Need to find another joint that will serve delicious mexican food.
Le Croissant's Chocolate Peppermint Cake
Verdict: Most delicious chocolate cake I've tasted in months. Not too sweet and the cake's supermoist with a hint of peppermint. Even though you are not a fan of peppermint you will like this cake because the peppermint flavor isn't too overwhelming. The filling between is also peppermint and the chocolate icing is just right. I have nothing but praises for this cake. I brought home a box after having two slices from the pantry and Macy bought me another box so I had a total of two boxes. Per slice is 65php while the whole round cake costa 395php. Sucha small price to pay for this delicious, underestimated cake!
Creamy Pesto Malunggay by Tsoko Nut Batirol
Verdict: Yummy! Not too salty and I don't seem to mind that they used malunggay instead of the pesto-staple basil. Could use more shrimps though. Serving is just good for one person. For the price, pretty much ok.

METRO Gourmet
METRO Gourmet offers a huge selection of meats and cheeses.
From sandwich meats to sausages, I think METRO Gourmet has everything a deli should have. They even have a greek moussaka for the adventurous. Will try their prepared food next time. But for the meantime, I am sticking to pastrami and salami!

Crisostomo
Type of Cuisine: Filipino
Location: ATC's New Wing
My friend and I were excited when we saw that a couple of shops have already opened in the ATC's new wing. We honestly didn't know which restaurant to pick so when we saw that there were already several people eating at Crisostomo then we got into thinking that this must be the place.
